Glaetzer Wines is a top-rated Australian winery, famous for producing some of the best Shiraz wines in the world. Based in the Barossa Valley, Glaetzer is celebrated for its bold, full-bodied red wines, crafted using old-vine Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Speaking with Nick Keukenmeester reinforced our commitment to bringing iconic Australian wines to Malta, ensuring our customers enjoy premium wines with outstanding ratings.
Lebanon is one of the oldest wine-producing regions, and Domaine des Tourelles is at the forefront of its modern wine revival. Meeting Faouzi Issa, one of Lebanon’s most acclaimed winemakers, was an exciting opportunity. His wines perfectly balance traditional Lebanese terroir with cutting-edge winemaking techniques, resulting in elegant, complex red wines that are gaining international recognition.
We also had the pleasure of connecting with Joe Assad Touma, the renowned Lebanese winemaker behind Château St. Thomas, a family-run winery that has mastered the art of blending tradition with innovation. Alongside Nathalie, the Export Manager for the Touma Family, we discussed the unique character of Lebanese wines and how Château St. Thomas continues to push boundaries in winemaking. Their expertise and passion are reflected in their outstanding red blends, which we’re excited to introduce to our clients in Malta.
One of the highlights of Wine Paris 2025 was an exclusive Lebanese wine masterclass led by Lebanon’s top winemakers. This session provided a deep dive into the best Lebanese red wines, showcasing the rich flavors and heritage of wines from the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon’s most famous wine region.
At MANU Malta, we are strong advocates of high-quality Lebanese wines, including Château Heritage, Domaine des Tourelles, Domaine Wardy, and other award-winning wineries. This masterclass reaffirmed why Lebanon is a rising star in the world of fine wines, offering rich, structured, and elegant flavors that deserve a place in every connoisseur’s collection.
